Each entry for the competition should consist of three (3) bottles. To ensure the anonymity of entrants, we suggest bottles meet the standard AHA National competition requirements. Traditional “longneck” style bottles, 10 ounces, or larger, in volume, free of raised-glass or inked brand-name lettering and paper labels are encouraged. Lettering and graphics on bottle caps must be obliterated with a permanent black marker. We will accept bottles of less than 10 ounces, but please send four (4) bottles. This will ensure adequate samples should your mead reach the Best of Show judging. If you only have corked bottles larger than 20 ounces, you may only send two (2), if they meet the above requirements for anonymity.
All bottles must be clean with a properly completed entry label attached by a rubber band. DO NOT TAPE OR GLUE ON BOTTLE LABLES. Bottles not meeting these requirements MAY be disqualified.
Entry Limitations:
There is no limit to the number of entries each meadmaker may send.
There is no limit to how many meads each meadmaker may enter in each sub-category.
But, an individual mead may only be entered once into a sub-category.

Cost:
Still $6.00 per entry. Form of payment should be check or money order made payable to CFHB - NO CASH PLEASE. If paying for entries for other than just yourself, please indicate the name(s) of other meadmakers on the check.
You can use the Internet payment tool PayPal®. This allows you to use a credit card to pay entry fees.
Deadline:
Entries should arrive after 20 April 2011 and before 6 May 2011.
No late arriving or walk-in entries will be accepted after May 6, 2011
Local Drop-off Locations:
Entries can be dropped of before noon on May 5th at Hearts Home Brew Supply, or bring them to the 4:15 pm May 1st CFHB meeting held at Rossi’s Pizzeria & Lounge.
